Synopsis for hawaiian coastal waters.. High pressure northeast of the state will drift east as a front approaches the islands from the northwest. The front will weaken into a trough over the islands Friday. An upper low will move across the islands late Friday through Saturday which will bring an increase for heavy showers and potential Thunderstorms.
